High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is an effective training technique that involves a quick burst of intense work followed by short rest and recovery.  It's one of our go-to workouts because it keeps your heart rate up, burning more fat in less time.  Music to busy bees like us!

Three Benefits of HIIT

1. No equipment required.  That means you can do a killer HIIT workout anywhere! Exercises like high knees, lunges, and burpees will get your heart rate up, and you never have to step foot in a gym! Unless you want to of course!

2. It's a Challenge, But It's Also Quick. You can do anything for 20 - 30 seconds! At least, that's what we tell ourselves to get through each workout. Although it's short, it's highly effective at boosting your metabolism. Seriously, a 20-minute HIIT workout will have you feeling like you've been in the gym for two hours!

3. Feel The Burn. Speaking of metabolism, the speed of your metabolic rate during a HIIT workout can give you a boost for up to 48 hours after the workout! Which means, you can still be burning fat after you've finished your routine.

The Workout

After a five-minute dynamic warmup, complete each exercise for 20 seconds, then rest for 10 seconds before starting the next move. Repeat each 4-minute circuit a total of four times to complete a 25-minute workout.
